Courses & Hands-On Learning

From reading to building.

Start with the book. Add structure when useful. Move into hardware and implementation when ready. Use direct guidance only when personalized feedback adds value.

The progressive learning model

Read. Learn. Build. Implement. Get guided.

Each level is intended to stand on its own. Higher levels add structure, hands-on depth, and personal guidance — they do not make the lower levels intentionally incomplete.

01 In progress

Read

Book / Handbook

Complete technical knowledge product for self-directed engineers who prefer to learn deeply through written material.

Lowest-touch entry
02 After Git projects

Learn

Book + Course + Video

Structured sequence, architecture walkthroughs, demonstrations, and focused video explanations around the same material.

More structure
03 After Git projects

Build

Course + Labs + Hardware Guide

Move from understanding into reproducible experiments using a tested bill of materials and recommended development hardware.

Hands-on practice
04 Next after books

Implement

Reference Project + Git

Study and extend a complete demo/reference implementation with code, validation material, debugging examples, and architecture notes.

Guided

1:1 Mentorship

Personalized technical or career/capability guidance for engineers who need direct feedback rather than another self-study resource.

Highest-touch

A simple principle

Higher levels add value — they do not withhold it from lower levels.

The book should remain useful as a complete knowledge product. The course adds structure and demonstration. Labs add experience. The reference project adds implementation depth. Mentorship adds personalization.

Embedded EdgeAI Audio Architect

The Audio Architect Handbook is the first topic intended to grow through this full ladder: from a deep written reference into structured learning, hands-on hardware, a complete reference implementation, with 1:1 guidance available by request.

READ

Architecture Handbook

The complete written system narrative and engineering reference.

LEARN

Structured Course & Video

Concept, architecture, code, measurement, and debugging walkthroughs.

BUILD

Labs & Hardware Guide

Reproducible exercises plus a tested bill of materials for the reference setup.

IMPLEMENT

Reference Git Project

Working code, validation assets, instrumentation, RCA examples, and architecture notes.

GUIDED

1:1 Mentorship

Technical or capability guidance around the same learning path, available by request and customized to the engineer.

Hardware without the logistics business

Recommended hardware, not Edge2XAI inventory.

For hands-on packages, Edge2XAI can provide a tested bill of materials and links to compatible development boards, microphones, debug accessories, and related hardware. The goal is to reduce setup uncertainty without turning Edge2XAI into a warehousing, shipping, returns, or customs operation.

Tested BOM Compatibility guidance Vendor / distributor links Affiliate links where appropriate

Any future affiliate relationships should be disclosed clearly. Hardware would be purchased directly from the manufacturer or distributor, not fulfilled by Edge2XAI.

Implementation depth

More than a source-code download.

The reference repository is intended to make architectural decisions observable: how capture, buffering, DSP, quantization, inference, validation, and product behavior connect on real hardware.

The board is the laboratory

The architecture is what should transfer.

ESP32-S3 or another target may provide the concrete implementation, but the learning objective is to understand the contracts between acquisition, DSP, ML, runtime, validation, and product behavior so the same reasoning can move to other hardware and audio EdgeAI applications.

Available by request · Limited

1:1 guidance when self-study is not enough.

Direct mentorship is intended to remain a high-touch extension of the learning material, not the starting point for every learner.

Technical Mentorship

Architecture discussion, implementation questions, project guidance, debugging approach, and Embedded-to-EdgeAI technical development.

Career & Capability Mentorship

Skill-gap review, learning roadmap, project/portfolio direction, and guidance for experienced embedded engineers moving toward EdgeAI or architecture roles.

Potential future learning packages

A repeatable model across Edge2XAI topics.

Only the Audio Architect package is currently being positioned as the first learning path, and it follows the books and the proven Git projects. The others remain future possibilities.
